Mrs. Reshma Krishnan is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist known for her dedication and expertise in the field of mental health. A first-rank holder in both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, she received her clinical training from the prestigious NIMHANS, Bengaluru. She has also qualified for both the UGC-NET and JRF examinations, affirming her strong academic foundation.
She is the founder and director as well as chief clinical psychologist of DHHEE mental health services. Additionally she works as a consultant in TMM hospital and is pursuing her PhD in Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore, as well. Her doctoral work focuses on Schema Therapy in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Her M.Phil. research explored the neuropsychological sequelae in clients who underwent surgery for bifrontal contusions — one of the rare studies of its kind in India.
Mrs. Krishnan is a Level 1 certified Schema Therapist, placing her among a select few in India, and is currently undergoing advanced training that would qualify her as one of the very few Advanced Certified Schema Therapists in India. She is undergoing training in EFT and Clinical Trauma Professional Training as well. Her therapeutic expertise is enriched by her experience in trauma-informed care, neuropsychology, Schema Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), queer-affirmative therapy, caste informed therapy and the treatment of complex psychological conditions with specialisations in OCD, personality disorders, trauma and dissociative disorders.
